Branding and use of intellectual property (IP)
The Barrier brand is well known and respected throughout Australia and is a valuable and powerful marketing tool. The intellectual property (IP) incorporated in Barrier’s products, marketing materials and its brands are valuable assets that Barrier allows to be used under strict conditions. It must only ever be used for the application as granted and always with the permission of Barrier Group Pty. Ltd.
Barrier views rebranding of its products or ‘passing off’ (using our IP to sell a competitor’s product) as very serious matters, which will as a minimum, terminate any arrangement to supply Barrier products. This needs to be clearly understood and adhered to by any potential distributor or reseller.
