Impact Absorbing

Generally speaking, physical barriers fall into two main groups. Those designed for public roads and highways, which deal with higher speed containment. And those designed for use on private (non road) property, such as carparks, warehouses and institutions. The products in this section are aimed at the latter. Typically, our focus is on controlling the movement of vehicles at lower, manouvering speeds and keeping pedestrians and vehicles separated and safe. There has been a long held belief that physical barriers should be rigidly mounted inflexible structures. We would suggest in fact that this actually leads to increased damage to buildings, floors, vehicles and in some cases pedestrians through transferred forces. Post and rail systems offer an effective form of protection for pedestrians, vehicles and assets.
