Can you paint over powder coated bollards or is there a better way?

Our bollards are all hot dip galvanised before being finished with a polyester powder coat, this offers the optimum adhesion and durability. While it is possible to paint over polyester coatings it does require a certain amount of preparation, priming and waiting.

Alternatively you could just slide over one of our new polyethylene Skinz bollard sleeves. No prep, no priming, no waiting and for a fraction of the cost. Visit our website or contact Customer Service to learn more.
