What is the difference between Compliance plastic wheel stops and recycled rubber wheel stops?

Compliance wheel stops are injection moulded in Australia from linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) which is clean and efficient process, and it is 100% recyclable at end of life through existing recycling services.

Recycled rubber wheel stops on the other hand are produced by recycling old tyres and other unknown waste rubber materials with chemical additives, the manufacturing process is highly polluting, wasteful and energy intensive. They are heavy, shipped long distances by sea and are difficult to recycle at end of life meaning they often end up in land fill.

While wheel stops made from LLDPE may be a little more expensive initially they represent far better long term commercial and environmental value.
