Do you have an installation procedure for your Fold Down Bollards FD150?

Yes, we specify the typical use and location of the FD150.

The purpose of the Fold Down bollard is to limit access to restricted areas by unauthorised vehicles. They are not designed for car parking spaces.

The Fold Down should be positioned in the centre of the access way. Curves or crowned roadways should be avoided.

The Fold down should include the following:

• M12x60mm sleeve anchors
• Padlock with 2x keys

The Below Ground Kit should include:

• M12x300mm hold down bolts
• M12 hex nuts
• M12x32mm washers

Fold down bollards should NEVER be installed into asphalt surfaces. The footprint is small and installing into asphalt directly would not be very strong. We also sell an in ground kit for FD150 if installing below ground into a footing. Please see attached image.
