Barrier Group’s Slo Motion Compliance Speed Humps are designed to conform to Australian Standard AS/NZS 2890.1:2004. Crafted from Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), these speed humps offer durability and reliability in managing vehicle speeds in various environments such as multi-storey car parks and private properties.

UV-stabilised LLDPE colour for long-lasting performance and resistance to various weather conditions, with built-in prismatic reflectors for superior night-time visibility, enhancing safety for all road users. Choose from black or yellow modules and rounded end caps to fit your specific length requirements.

Easy assembly and installation with interchangeable modular parts that lock into place effortlessly. Each module, whether body or end, measures 328 x 250 x 53mm. This uniformity simplifies installation calculations for a seamless setup. Featuring a circular internal support structure, which enhances durability and resistance to heavy traffic loads. A directional chevron pattern ensures a non-slip surface and dual built-in 20mm channels allow for easy cable or pipe access and facilitate water drainage.

Design Compliance

  • Height and Structure: Adheres to the required height of 25-75mm with a flat top cross-section to prevent vehicle damage and ensure compliance.
  • Ramp Angle and Markings: Features a gentle 2:1 ramp angle and comes with mandatory alternating yellow stripes each 250mm wide, as specified for Type 2 speed humps.

Ideal for use in confined areas or spaces where low-speed vehicle control is necessary (30 km/h or less). These speed humps are designed to be spaced no less than 10 meters apart and are suitable for continuous speed control over distances up to 50 meters. Strategically place away from intersections and curved roadways to optimize functionality and safety. The installation of the speed hump should not impede pedestrian or wheelchair traffic, maintaining a clear and accessible path at least 1 metre wide in compliance with accessibility guidelines.
