Should I install roller door bollards inside the garage or outside. What’s best?

We would always recommend installing roller door bollards on the outside of the door where they are highly visible, a good part of their effectiveness is the visual deterrent. There’s not much value in the intruder finding out you have bollards in place after they have created potentially thousands of dollars damage to your building.

Of course there is the example of the guy that thought he’d save on bollards and park his forklift up against the inside of the roller door, that was great until he was ram-raided one night. The impact crushed the gas cylinder causing a fire that destroyed everything….but at least they left empty handed…scorched but empty handed!
