What would be suitable anti-theft device for a caravan?

Here at Barrier Group we have a range of products which can assist in the security of your caravan.

We offer a Scorpion Wheel Clamp which is prominently used by the Sheriff’s Department to clamp vehicles. Many customers use the Scorpion Wheel Clamp to secure their valuable vehicles, boats, trailers and caravans as it is a highly visible, portable and effective theft deterrent.

The second product which can be used to secure your caravan is a removable bollard. These bollards range in colour, sizing and application. For example, we can offer a removable bollard which attaches to a roller door, or a freestanding model which can be mounted between the ‘A-Frame’ of the draw bar effectively preventing the van or trailer from being moved.

To narrow down the bollard options you may wish to consider the following questions:

• We offer two styles of removable bollards – below ground or surface mount. Which option would best suit your application?
• Would your caravan be in a garage? If so, a roller door bollard may be an option. Roller door bollards prevent the garage door from being opened as well as providing a physical barrier and may be used either internally or externally.
• Would you prefer a key lockable or padlock-able bollard? Padlock-able models are more affordable.
